Four Year Break. I'm Baaaaaaaack !

Well then..... Sorry about that folks. Turns out I wasn't ready for blogging back in '07 when I attempted this. I'm back. I'm ready. I'm inspired! Thanks to a random 'near stranger', I took a few minutes to reflect on the blogging situation. Here's the deal. I'm 35 years old. I write. I write each and every single day in fact. I don't profess to be exceptional at it, however, it is an absolute outlet to me, and who the hell doesn't need an outlet, right? So, here I am. A lot has changed since '07. My marital status, home, job; just about anything you can imagine. I call it the days of "BOOM, new life". It's a work in progress. There are plenty of steps; forward and back. I hope you tag along for the ride! Cheers!

Ok.

So anyway, I have never done this.

In case you're wondering, I do not drink, but often times I think I should. I am a Mommy though, so my title is totally appropriate. Can you even see my title? Who knows, as I mentioned earlier, I have no idea what I am doing.

Thanks to my friend Kelly, I have added this to my 'to do' pile every day. Or whenever? Oh God, do I have to do this every day? Will someone come after me if I forget? I am organized...however..... I do have two small children and one very large child, (who is almost 35 and I did not give birth to), and I do work full time and blah, blah. Ok, ok, I'm on it. I can do this. Oh the power of positive thinking!

OK, I'd like to think that I could end this with something whitty to sound somewhat intelligent or stimulating or something, so here's what I've got. These are the words that I try to live by:

"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always had."

In case you are wondering also, "Shelly Welly Ding Dong" is my childhood nickname given to me by my aunt. She gave us all nicknames. I will hold you in suspense until tomorrow for the others. Wow, how's that for anticipation? I'm good!
